EMERGE: launch of project activities under the Interreg South Adriatic Programme
The activities of the EMERGE project, funded under the Interreg South Adriatic Programme, have officially started, with IEI among the project partners.
The project begins with the implementation of Work Package 1 (WP1), focused on environmental risk analysis and programme setup. In this initial phase, partners are jointly working on the identification and evaluation of the main risks affecting the involved territories, with particular attention to marine and coastal ecosystems.
The planned activities include:
- identification and assessment of environmental risks
- sector-specific risk analysis
- definition of priorities for future interregional calls
- development of common standards and evaluation processes
The launch of WP1 represents a key step in building a solid knowledge base, essential for the development of coordinated actions and operational tools supporting sustainable and resilient territorial management.
