Introductory Course on Traditional Crafts

The first module of the Arti & Mestieri Project was designed as an introductory training course focused on the foundations of traditional craftsmanship and the cultural value of manual work.

Through theoretical sessions and guided practical activities, participants were introduced to the historical, social, and economic importance of artisanal professions. The course explored the role of craftsmanship as part of intangible cultural heritage and emphasized its relevance in contemporary sustainable development.

The training aimed to:

  • Raise awareness about traditional skills and local identity

  • Encourage youth participation in artisanal professions

  • Provide foundational knowledge of techniques and materials

  • Promote respect for manual work as cultural heritage

This module established the educational framework for deeper practical engagement in the following phase.

Advanced Training and Practical Workshops

The second module was structured as an advanced training course focused on hands-on workshops and direct skill transmission.

Participants engaged in practical sessions led by experienced artisans, allowing them to apply traditional techniques, refine manual abilities, and understand the professional dimensions of craft-based work.

The training focused on:
